Shilajit is one of the most interesting supplements I've ever tested... it's an ancient supplement prized for the benefits it can deliver to the entire body.

Shilajit is a sticky, black, tar-like substance found in the high mountains of the Himalayas, Altai, Caucasus, and other mountain ranges. It's formed over hundreds of years by the decomposition of plant and microbial matter.

It looks weird and it smells bad...it tastes like mountain dirt and smells like a bears armpit, I'll be honest...yet it's a nutritional powerhouse.
Shilajit has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine, particularly in India, as a natural remedy to promote general health and well-being as well as physical strength and stamina.

The composition of shilajit is complex and includes a variety of minerals, fulvic acid, humic acid, and other organic compounds. It is known for its rich mineral content. As well, its fulvic acid content is believed to enhance the absorption of minerals and nutrients by the body.

It doesn't really DO anything itself...it just helps your body function better.

1. Ionic Minerals

I was really impressed with their committment to quality. They have third-party testing done on every batch to ensure there are no issues with contaminants.

As you can see...definitely looks like tar.

The resin has a "unqiue" flavor that you'll maybe get used to but a strong smell (like a bears armpit, as I mentioned above). This is best mixed with another hot or warm beverage to melt it and dissolve it and mask the flavor a bit.

I've always found that if something is effective enough, I'll find a way to get it down...

They've also got a process for their capsules that allows their shilajit to be powdered without losing any of the benefits that the various acids and minerals provide (that can be lost when processed with heat).

My Results With Natural Shilajit...

After testing this stuff for 6 weeks now, I found it distinctly helped me with recovery and strength.

Just yesterday, I did incline dumbbell presses with 95 lb dumbbells...which I haven't even attempted in years... and I wasn't even training specifically for improving that exercise.

I just feel like I've got more gas in the tank, so to speak....in the gym and just in life in general.

This is a product I'm going to be taking consistently for the long term.

After researching the benefits of shilajit... and fulvic and humic acid... I know this is the kind of supplement that I'll see more and more benefits from as I keep on taking it regularly.

Nutrition isn't always my strong suit and I'm always on the lookout for things that can help me get more out of what I'm eating and potentially help fill in the nutrient gaps when I'm not eating as I maybe should be.

Overall, this is a supplement I can HIGHLY recommend...it's going in my daily regimen from here on.
