When it comes to water bottles, most are just basic containers... the Clearly Filtered Water Bottle takes it to the next level by putting a top quality filter between you and the water you put in it.
I recently tested the 32oz Insulated Stainless Steel Filtered Water Bottle from Clearly Filtered. And after putting it through everyday use, I’ve got some thoughts. This isn’t your average bottle with a basic charcoal filter... it’s built like a tank and filters like a lab-grade filtration system in the convenience of a hand-held bottle.
The double-wall insulation keeps water cold for hours, and the filter noticeably improved the taste, removing tap water aftertaste. It’s designed for people who care about what’s in their water, but don’t want to sacrifice convenience or style.
In this review, I’ll break down what makes this bottle stand out, where it could be better, and who it’s actually best for. Whether you’re considering it for daily use, travel, or just upgrading your hydration game, I'll give you my full rundown.
What Is the Clearly Filtered Water Bottle?
The Clearly Filtered Water Bottle is essentially a strongly-built stainless steel water bottle with a high-quality filter attached to an internal straw.
This setup means instead of filtering the water BEFORE you put it into the bottle or as you put it into the bottle, it gets filtered as you drink it.
It's an interesting setup that allows to very quickly and easily drink from a variety of sources that might otherwise be not super healthy or tasty.

Overall Impressions...
The taste of the water that comes out of the drinking straw is VERY good. I tested it in a variety of situations (including garden hose water and hot car water) and it tasted great.
You could easily fill this up in the fountain or tap at the gym and not have to worry about needing bottled water. In fact, this water is likely better than the bottled water you'd have to buy.
The only real downside I found to this is it does require some decent suction to get water through the filtered. Gravity-powered filters just let the water drain down through it...this filter setup means have have to suck it up through the filter AND the straw.
You likely won't be able to take pills or supplements with this setup, but in terms of hydration, it's definitely not a deal breaker.
You will need to buy new filters after a certain amount of water is run through it, but they're not expensive and they're easy to change.
The key thing with this bottle is that the water is VERY good when it comes out the straw. I have triple-filtered water in my house and this comes just as tasty, which is awesome.
