Two Dumbbell Workouts and Exercises

Recommended Exercise Resources

Training at home with just a pair of dumbbells can be very effective!

Here is a collection of some of my favorite dumbbell exercises and workouts that cover every major muscle group. These are exercises you can do without any other equipment (not even a bench!).

1. Single Dumbbell Circuit Workout

You'll rotate through one-arm dumbbell floor presses (both sides) to one-arm dumbbell rows (both sides) to reverse lunges (each leg). Not only do you hit the muscle groups, you hammer your core the entire time with anti-rotational training.

3. Dumbbell Hammer Swings

FYI, this is not a curl...it just LOOKS like a really cheaty one. This is actually an explosive dumbbell swing done using a hammer curl grip. As you come to the top, you pull YOURSELF in towards the dumbbells (not pulling the dumbbells in towards your chest), which does hit the brachialis like a hammer curl...but it's not a curl.

Time-Volume Training

Build muscle and strength like clockwork, even with very limited equipment, or NO equipment at all. This unconventional approach even builds muscle with light weight, saving your joints and nervous system from overload while you build mass fast.
