Biography

Alex Nilsson was born in a small town in Blekinge, Sweden and is currently living in the town of Creston in British Columbia, Canada. Alex is currently retired from Public Health and trains 3 to 4 hours per day. He has been active in health and fitness for the majority of his life, choosing to persue extreme endurance sports events over the past 10 years or so.

Alex is 70 years old and continues to surpass those half his age in both training and accomplishments!

Some of his notable past accomplishments include:

  • Cycling from Creston, B.C. to Calgary, Alberta, non-stop in 30 hours.
  • Cycling from Creston, B.C. to Vancouver, B.C. non-stop in 40 hours.
  • Compled a 24 hour multi-sport marathon, encompassing kayaking, cycling, roller skiing, running, and roller blading.
  • Completing 8 marathons, including Spokane, Chicago, and Seattle.
  • Multiple medal winner in the B.C. Seniors Games for 6 years running.
