I am now onto
day 19 of your program and I have to say it is the best training program I have
undertaken.
I find
it extremely challenging but the results are speaking for themselves. It has
been pretty good for the ego to have people asking me if I have lost weight and/or
that I am looking good on an almost daily basis.
The
funny thing is that I didn't think I really had much weight I wanted to lose,
but have now had to put two new holes in my belt
and am going to have to have all my work pants taken in!
I
was concerned that I would lose a bit of muscle tone on this program but the opposite
has occured - it is great to see a program that disproves the myth that you
can't lose fat and gain muscle at the same time - I sure have.
I
have really learnt a lot about my body through this program and would recommend
it to anyone wanting to lose weight and gain muscle.
I
am going to be doing my personal training certificate later this year, or early
next year, and this program has given me a great understanding of what works for
fat loss and muscle gain.

the Metabolic Surge Course for one month before my holidays. At the time, I was
attempting to diet by reducing my carbs. I was 16 stone 4 lbs when I started/attempted
to diet at 8 weeks out from my holidays. At first the weight/fat reduced steadily,
however at a month out the reductions slowed. I reduced carbs further (too low,

Hi Nick,
I
promised you the results of the Metabolic Surge program. So here they are: (the
body composition numbers are from the caliper pinch technique - done (carefully)
by the same person both times):
August 14: weight = 158.8 lbs ..bodyfat = 12.0%
October 4: weight = 160.3 lbs ..bodyfat = 9.3%
Can you believe it?!?!?! I am amazed. Now, the weight is, of course, a flaky sort
of number, but taking the numbers at face value, what they amount to is that in
about 7 weeks, I
a) lost about 4 lbs of fat
at
the same time as I
b) gained 5.5 lbs of muscle!!!
The numbers sure
did go in the right direction -- IN SPADES!! What can I say, except thanks so
very much for designing this program. What more could anyone ask? I guess the
mirror wasn't lying.

for this lovely book - I'm enjoying a new zeal for my training! I've been
working out for years, used to compete in bodybuilding and am now just trying
to stay lean. Difficult when you love to eat!
I
have spent some time reading through the book to make sure I have a grasp on all
the training techniques. I've done most of them at one time or another but not
all of them. I've decided to try some of the workouts here and there before I
jump in. I love it! I did day one, using stairs because all our cardio is upstairs
and weights downstairs. I looked a bit crazy running to the stairs between sets
but, I'm over it. I've got the stopwatch now and I really look like a nut but,
everyone wants to know what I'm doing.
Wait
until I'm shredded, I'll have the whole gym running aroung like fools! Well, I
just wanted to let you know that I'm loving this program

I
LOVE the weight training part of this program!! I really enjoy the
variety and intensity of the exercises. I really needed something different since

First I would
like to say thank you for the meal plans for the Metabolic Surge program. It has
been great so far. I'm on Day 25 and my waist is smaller; even in my abs I
started to see the six pack figure. The rest of my body got leaner and a little
